Tarragona Lodge

The management of the Terragona Lodge luxury accommodation in Hout Bay were told that there were major structural problems with sections of the roof and that the slopes of some areas of the roof were wrong, causing extensive leaking. The recommendation they received was that sections of the roof would need to be replaced with a different roof covering to solve the leaking problems to the roof of their beautiful establishment.

Their handyman, Hugh Byrnes who was familiar with and had worked with BULLDOGSEAL in the past recommended that they try sealing the roof with BULLDOGSEAL before spending a lot of money and inconvenience replacing sections of the roof. Mr Byrnes knew that it is not always possible to see where tiles are cracked that could be causing leaks as the cracks may appear under the tile overlaps. The persistent water leakages were visible on the interior of the building.

The Terragona Management appointed Mr Byrnes to do the job and he made use of Charcoal coloured BULLDOGSEAL Seal that blended in well with the roof tiles to repair and seal the roof. Mr Byrnes sealed around each tile, with Two (2) coats of BULLDOGSEAL, as well as along the ridge and the side of the roof.

The Customer was very happy to report that there was no leakages when it rained a few days after completion of the project.
